EXIA Privacy Policy
Discord Moderation Bot · Policy version 1.0.0 · Effective date: 2026-10-11 ·
EXIA ("the Bot") is an auto-moderation bot for Discord servers. It watches messages for configured threats (spam, raids, blacklisted patterns) and escalates sanctions (warn → mute → kick → ban) based on per-server settings. This policy explains what data the Bot handles.
Data the Bot stores
- Server configuration: per-guild settings such as log channel, appeal and rejoin links, moderation profiles, detection module weights, sanction thresholds, custom regex rules, and mention whitelists (user and role IDs).
- Whitelisted IDs: Discord user and role IDs that server administrators explicitly exempt from mention guards.
Data the Bot processes but does not store
- Message content: evaluated in real time against the server's configured detection rules. Message text is never written to the Bot's database.
- Pressure scores: per-user threat scores kept in memory only, decaying automatically (about every 60 seconds).
Where data lives
Server configuration is stored in the Bot operator's own database, scoped per Discord server. Sanction notices are sent to the affected user by direct message, and summaries of moderation actions are posted to the log channel the server's administrators chose.
What the Bot does not do
- No advertising, analytics, or cross-server tracking.
- No reading of direct messages: only messages in servers where it is installed.
- No sharing or sale of server data to third parties.
Data removal
Removing the Bot from a server stops further collection there. Stored server configuration is deleted on request: contact the developer (below).
